Rumbi was one of the first two women to be invited into the partnership of Dube, Manikai & Hwacha in 2007 after having served only three years as a professional assistant in its then Corporate and Financial Services Unit (now Commercial and Financial Services). Rumbi's training and experience is largely in commercial, mandate-based transactions such as group and debt restructurings, reconstructions, listings, rights issues and private placements. She is also part of the team that renders continuing advice to multi-lateral financial institutions where she advises on and prepares the security packages. Currently Rumbi runs the Conveyancing and Securitization Unit of the Firm where she lends her expertise in mortgage registrations, property development, Conveyancing and Notarial work and preparation and registration of securities in lending transactions. Her portfolio includes top financial institutions, Insurance companies and some of Zimbabwe's top production entities. With a keen interest in Estate Planning, Rumbi has, over the years, assisted the affluent executives of her corporate clients in planning their personal affairs. She is the current Vice President of the Law Society of Zimbabwe and sits on the board of a local financial institutions
