OBERT KONDONGWE

PARTNER: EMPLOYMENT & LITIGATION

Obert graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with an LL.B (Hons) degree in 2015 after he had already joined DMH in July 2014 as a successful intern. His practice emphasizes the litigation that primarily pertains to Labour and Employment Law as well as family and inheritance laws; an interesting combination that suits Obert's style.  Obert is well versed in trial preparation, estate administration, research, arbitration, conciliation, mediation, retrenchments, conducting disciplinary hearings, drafting persuasive briefs, reviewing agreements, employment codes of conduct, employment contracts with an analytical mind. Recently, he has developed a keen interest for constitutional, environmental and administrative law related litigation and has appeared many times at the Administrative Court and the Constitutional Court of Zimbabwe. 

TENDERO MAKANGA

PARTNER: COMMERCIAL & FINANCIAL SERVICES & TAX

Tendero Makanga holds an LL.B (Hons) degree with a distinction from the University of Zimbabwe. She was registered as a legal practitioner, notary public and conveyancer in November 2016. She joined Dube, Manikai & Hwacha as an Associate in August 2021 with a wealth of experience she gained as an Associate in another leading Harare Law Firm. She became a Senior Associate effective 1 May 2022. Tendero has a keen interest in corporate and commercial law practice, specialising in tax law, intellectual property law, investment law and commercial dispute resolution by way of both arbitration and litigation. She has appeared in the High Court and Supreme Court of Zimbabwe and has advised the firm's clients in mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, exchange control, insolvency, and restructuring
